We are delighted to offer a new functionality to Council Dashboard forms; Chapter Selection. This allows individuals to select which chapters they want their information shared with. This is completely optional and councils can turn it on or off for each of their forms.
A council dashboard user will need to navigate to their forms. There they can select the "Edit" option. Once in the form, on the right side of the screen there are the "Form Options."
The newest option is "Chapter Selection."
Once this is toggled on a new field will appear that will prompt users to select which groups they are interested in and it will ONLY push that lead's data to those chapters.
Which chapters appear on this list?
All linked groups will appear as an option. If you want to remove one, you will need to un-link it from your dashboard.
Can we turn this off?
Yes, this is completely optional. You can toggle it on or off on the "Forms Option" panel on the right side of the edit form page.
Will the chapter be notified if a new lead is shared with them?
They will be if they have notifications enabled in their account settings. They can manage this under their account settings.
What data is shared?
Any of the fields that you have selected to "Share with groups" will be pushed to the chapter. Learn how to manage this here.
Will a version of that Lead still appear on the council's dashboard?
Yep! The Lead will still appear on your Council Dashboard Lead List.
Will this happen if we manually push?
Unfortunately no. If you manually push leads, it will still push them to all chapters. For this feature to work as intended you need manual lead sharing disabled.
What if the lead doesn't select any chapters?
It will send that leads data to all chapters; all chapters is the default for this field.
