ChapterBuilder - Tips if you are using Linktree
We have received a number of emails about using Linktree to share your ChapterBuilder forms and wanted to write an article to assist you. Below you will find a way to make your ChapterBuilder form link work in Linktree.
1. Get your shareable link for the form you are wanting to share through Linktree. You MUST copy the link by clicking Share > "Copy Form Link". You CANNOT copy directly from the url.
Make sure you click on "Copy Form Link." The "Copy Embed Code" option is only if you are putting it on your website.
2. Shorten the form link you just copied. You can do this through a service like TinyURL (tinyurl.com) for FREE. You MUST shorten your link from ChapterBuilder if you want users to be able to access your link on mobile (Linktree cuts off part of it if you do not and it does not work correctly).
3. Add your link to your Linktree account. Using the newly shortened link provided by the service you selected, you will be able to copy the new link int your Linktree account. Note, it seems to take a minute for the new link to take affect.
If you have questions about the Linktree product, you will have to contact them directly as we do not own, operate, integrate, etc with them.
Important - you must make sure your form sharing is enabled for a form you want to share. If you do not, the user will get a message about the form being off and will not be able to fill it out.
