ChapterBuilder - How to create a custom tag

Each ChapterBuilder account comes with default tags that include:

  • Legacy

  • Upperclassmen

  • Transfer Student

  • Out-of-State 

If you are using the Lite, Standard or Pro versions of ChapterBuilder, you can create custom tags. The limits are as followed 

  • Lite Version - 5 custom tags 

  • Standard Version - Unlimited tags

  • Pro Version - Unlimited tags 

To create a custom tag follow these steps:

  1. Click on the the “Settings” button on the left side navigation bar.

  2. Click on the “Tags” tab

  3. Click “New Tag” (red button in the upper left corner)

  4. From there you can give your tag the following customizations

    1. Title - what will appear in the Leads profile 

    2. Color 

    3. Description - will appear when a user hovers over the tag explaining what it is. 

If you do not have the New Tag button, then you have reached your limit. You will need to delete a tag to be able to create a new one or upgrade to a plan with unlimited tags. 

Note you must be an admin to access account settings like custom tags.
