ChapterBuilder - Council Forms - What data gets shared with linked groups/chapters?
For communities using the Council Dashboard, the Forms feature allows you to generate leads that can be shared with linked chapters/groups. You may be wondering, what data is shared with them? The answer is it's up to you!
Sharing with Linked Groups
For each field you create for your form, you have the option to share the data captured in that field with the linked groups. To enable to disable a field being shared with your linked groups/chapters, follow these steps.
Navigate to the Form tab by clicking on the "Form" button on the left-side navigation bar.
Find the form you are wanting to work with and click "Edit."
There you can stroll down to your form's "Form Field Section where all your custom questions/fields live.
At the bottom of each question, you will see "Share with Linked Groups."
This means it will be shared
This means it's off and WILL NOT be shared.
Note, you can also edit a field's sharing permissions under the Form tab in Settings.
